A gathering of local people on Crayford Bridge.

The view is looking east towards Crayford High Street with the Bear and Staff Hotel seen on the left-hand side. There has been a pub of similar name on the site since the early 18th century.

The present day pub 'The Bear and Ragged Staff' dates from 1925.
