Bourne Road, Old Bexley, looking east towards Crayford.

The gates to Hall Place are on the right. Hall Place is a part-Tudor, part-Jacobean mansion.

The present house dates back to c.1540 but there is evidence of earlier houses on this site as far back as 1241.

The lodge house on the left-hand side of the road leads to another of the many large houses that were in the area, called Halcot.
