Brook Drive, Borough, 1977
Brook Drive, looking west towards Kennington Road.
This road marks the boundary between the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark, although it was entirely in Lambeth in the 1880s when these houses were built.
This uniform design replaced groups of Regency and early Victorian terraces.
The late Victorian replacement aims at high density housing while retaining the style of the home as opposed to the tenement.
