Lewisham High Street, Lewisham, c. 1874

This is the view north from St Mary's Church.

The seventeenth century houses on the right and the Victorian houses beyond were replaced by the Ladywell Leisure Centre after serious bomb damage in the Second World War.

The Lewisham Congregational Church of 1867 was also bomb damaged and now only the tower survives.
