Two drawings of 1754, the earliest views of St.Paul's Church, Rectory Grove.

This building replaced the mediaeval church on the same site and was itself replaced in 1815.

The new church was relegated to 'Chapel of Ease' to the grander Holy Trinity Church which catered for the increasing population.
