St.Matthew's Church Brixton Hill.

One of the four new Lambeth parish churches to be built in response to the growth of the population in the early 19th century.

This view is looking east at the imposing facade designed by the architect C.F.Porden in 1824.

The crypt and some parts of the church are currently in use as a restaurant and for community activities.
