The Chenies, Petts Wood, 1954
The Chenies was built by Noel Rees, who was responsible for some of the grandest houses in Petts Wood.
The Chenies is unusual, even by his high standard: each of the twenty nine houses is different, and careful use is made of mature trees.
Appropriately the road has been made a conservation area.
